Why Use Silk Touch

If you want to collect Ancient Debris blocks themselves rather than Netherite Scraps, use a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch. This enchantment overrides the mod's default behavior and preserves the block in its original form.

How to Collect Blocks

1. Enchant a Diamond or Netherite pickaxe with Silk Touch

2. Mine Ancient Debris normally

3. The block will drop as-is instead of converting to scraps

4. Collect and transport the blocks

When to Use This

Silk Touch is useful if you want to:

• Store Ancient Debris for later processing
• Build with the blocks decoratively
• Transport large quantities without losing material
• Process blocks in a different location

Keep in mind that Silk Touch and Fortune are mutually exclusive on a single tool, so choose based on your immediate needs. If you need both behaviors, maintain separate pickaxes for different mining sessions.
