Set Up Forsaken Concrete Jungle on a Dedicated Server

Server-Side Installation

Unlike many mods, Forsaken Concrete Jungle only requires installation on the server. Clients connecting to the server do not need the mod installed, making it ideal for public or private multiplayer servers.

Configuration Steps

1. Install the mod on your dedicated server following standard server mod procedures

2. Start the server once to generate default configuration files

3. Stop the server and configure the mod settings (generation profiles, world type, etc.) in the server config directory

4. Restart the server

Player Connection

Players can connect with vanilla Minecraft or any client configuration—they will see the generated cities normally. The server handles all world generation and structure placement.

Adding Datapacks

Place custom datapacks in the server's datapacks folder within your world directory. These apply to all players on the server without requiring client-side installation.

This setup is perfect for survival servers, creative building communities, or exploration-focused multiplayer worlds where you want consistent city generation across all players.
