Exploring the New Structures

The Formations Overworld Mod adds several hand-built structures to the Overworld, drawing on real-world cultures and architecture. Because they generate across the different biomes, you can run into them almost anywhere while exploring.

The structures you may encounter include:

• Water Temple – a large temple that generates on a lake or ocean.
• Mesoamerican Temple – a temple inspired by Mesoamerican architecture.
• Old Tower Remnants – the ruins of an ancient tower.
• Tribal Offering – a small altar once used by tribes to make offerings to their gods.
• Bamboo Hut – a simple hut built from bamboo.
• Strange Temple – a mysterious temple.

Each structure is designed to feel immersive rather than generic. Inside them you can find treasures, traces of lost civilizations, and puzzles to solve. Treat them as exploration goals: pick a direction, travel through unfamiliar biomes, and see what you discover.
