How to Tell If Forgified Fabric API Is Working
After installing Forgified
Fabric API, you want confirmation that it is actually loaded and doing its job rather than sitting inert in your mods folder.
Check the Mod List
Open the mods screen from the main menu. Forgified
Fabric API should appear in the list alongside your other mods. If it does not appear at all, it is not being loaded — check that the file is in the correct mods folder for your instance and that you launched the right profile.
Look for Dependent Mods Loading
The clearest proof is behavioral: a Fabric mod that requires
Fabric API should now load instead of crashing with a missing dependency error. If that mod appears in the mod list and its content (blocks, items, screens) shows up in-game, the API is functioning.
Read the Logs
Launch with logging visible or check the latest log file. Forgified
Fabric API registers events, hooks, and APIs during startup, and those registrations appear in the log. You will also see registry synchronization activity, which keeps registry entries consistent between client and server.
Crash Reports as a Signal
If something else crashes, Forgified
Fabric API enriches the crash report with additional context. A richer report than usual is itself a sign the mod is active. If reports look bare and a Fabric-dependent mod fails, the API likely is not loading.
