Keeping Animals Permanently Young
How to Lock Baby Animals at Their Current Age
Feed a poisonous potato to any baby animal to prevent it from aging. Once consumed, that animal will remain permanently small and won't grow into its adult form—no matter how much time passes.
This effect is purely cosmetic and doesn't prevent breeding. Baby animals kept small can still reproduce normally, and their offspring will also be born as babies, which can then be locked at their young size using the same method.
To reverse the effect and allow an animal to resume aging, give it a bucket of milk. After drinking, the animal will gradually grow again like normal. This makes the mechanic fully reversible if you change your mind about keeping a particular animal tiny.
