Using the Watchtower for Lookout and Defense
Climbing to the Top
The stone watchtower is your highest vantage point. Climb the internal stairs to the top platform and light it thoroughly with torches or lanterns to prevent mobs from spawning. From this height, you can spot distant landmarks, plan your exploration routes, and watch for approaching danger.
Setting Up a Defensive Position
The tower's height makes it ideal for ranged defense. Stock the top level with arrows and a bow, and keep a water bucket nearby in case of fire. The narrow staircase is a natural chokepoint—mobs must climb single-file, making it easy to defend if needed.
Consider using the tower's upper platform as a signal point. Place torches or lanterns in patterns to mark important locations visible from far away, or use it as a beacon to navigate back home through the dense forest. The tower's stone construction is fire-safe, making it perfect for storing valuable items or keeping an emergency supply of tools.
