Troubleshooting: Why Isn't My Pet Teleporting With Me?

Check the Obvious First

Most cases of a pet not teleporting come down to one of a few simple causes. Work through these before assuming something is broken.

Common Causes and Fixes

• The pet is sitting. This is the number one reason. Right-click it to make it stand, then teleport again.
• The pet is too far away. The mod only grabs tamed animals near you at the moment of teleport. Walk closer so it is following right behind you.
• The pet isn't tamed. Only tamed wolves, cats, and similar animals are affected. Wild animals stay where they are.
• You used a non-command teleport. The mod works with teleport commands. Other forms of movement, like walking through a portal, are not the same thing.
• The pet is in a different dimension or unloaded chunk. Bring it into your current area first.

If It Still Fails

• Confirm the mod is actually loaded and enabled for your world.
• Check that no other mod is overriding teleport behavior.
• Test with a single standing pet right next to you and a simple teleport command to isolate the problem.
