Automatic Adaptation

Folium Frond Expansion automatically detects and applies your active resource pack's leaf textures to the new bushy foliage models. You don't need to install separate patches or manually configure anything.

How It Works

1. Activate your resource pack in Video Settings → Resource Packs as normal

2. Load or create a world with the mod active

3. Observe foliage — leaves will render with your pack's colors, transparency, and biome tinting intact

The mod reads your resource pack's leaf block textures in real-time and applies them to the expanded geometry. This means custom colors, connected textures, and seasonal variations all work without extra setup.

Troubleshooting

If foliage appears wrong:

• Ensure your resource pack is ranked above Folium Frond in the pack list
• Reload chunks by moving away and back (F3+A on Java)
• Check that your pack actually modifies leaf textures (some packs only change other blocks)
