Harvesting Horns from Adults

Only fully grown adult unicorns have harvestable horns. Approach an adult unicorn and use shears on it (right-click while holding shears). The horn will drop without harming the unicorn. The horn naturally regrows over time on the same adult, so you can harvest repeatedly from the same mount.

Crafting a Bonded Summoning Horn

Once you have a harvested horn, craft it into a bonded summoning horn using a recipe that binds it to your specific tamed unicorn. Consult your crafting menu or recipe book for exact ingredients and arrangement.

Using Your Summoning Horn

With a bonded summoning horn in hand, activate it (right-click) to instantly call your bonded unicorn to your location—even across great distances or between different dimensions. This is invaluable for retrieving your mount after it wanders or when you need it urgently. Keep your summoning horn in a safe inventory slot for quick access during exploration.
