Locating a Wild Herd

Use the /unicorn habitat command to instantly teleport to the nearest wild unicorn herd. Alternatively, explore grassy biomes on foot—unicorns naturally spawn in herds containing both adults and colorful foals across 32 different color variations.

Taming Process

Approach a unicorn slowly to avoid startling it. Interact with the unicorn repeatedly (right-click) until hearts appear above its head, indicating successful taming. A tamed unicorn will follow you and respond to your commands.

Once tamed, place a saddle on your unicorn by holding it and right-clicking the mount. Your unicorn is now ready to ride on land or take to the skies. Keep your new companion nearby by staying close, or use a summoning horn once you've crafted one to call it from distances or other dimensions.

Tips

Taming multiple unicorns gives you options—different colors and sizes may appeal to your playstyle. Foals will grow into adults over time, eventually developing horns you can harvest.
