Switch Between Vanilla-Like and Semi-Realistic Visual Styles

Open Shader Presets

Access Flux Prism Elite settings from your video options menu. Find the Preset or Profile dropdown at the top level.

Choose Your Visual Style

The mod offers two main aesthetic directions:

Vanilla-Plus Style: Select presets labeled as simple, vanilla, or basic. These add subtle enhancements—soft shadows and gentle bloom—without drastically changing Minecraft's familiar look. Blocks remain recognizable and colors stay close to vanilla.

Semi-Realistic Style: Choose presets labeled visual-focused or detailed. These enable:

  • Pronounced bloom around light sources
  • Deeper, more defined shadows
  • PBR material effects (surface shine and roughness)
  • Waving foliage and water reflections
  • Enhanced color grading

Pair with Appropriate Texture Packs

Vanilla-plus presets work well with default textures or simple texture packs. Semi-realistic presets shine when paired with PBR-compatible texture packs that include surface detail maps.

Test in Your World

Load a familiar area and observe how lighting, shadows, and block appearance change. Switch between presets to compare. Your choice depends on whether you prefer Minecraft's classic look or a more polished, detailed appearance.
