Enable Realistic Water Reflections and Wave Motion
Open Shader Configuration
Access the Flux Prism Elite settings from your video options menu.
Locate Water Settings
Find the Water or Reflections section in the shader options. You'll see toggles for:
- Water reflection rendering
- Wave motion animation
- Reflection quality/detail level
Enable Reflections and Waves
Turn on the water reflections toggle. This makes the water surface reflect nearby blocks, sky, and light sources. Then enable wave motion to add subtle, realistic surface movement to all water blocks.
Adjust Reflection Quality
If your frame rate drops noticeably, lower the reflection quality setting. Higher quality gives sharper, more detailed reflections but costs more performance.
Test Different Lighting Conditions
Visit water at different times of day and in different light conditions. Watch how reflections change based on sun position and nearby torches or lanterns. The effect is most visible on large water surfaces like lakes or oceans.
Note: Reflections work best with medium and visual-focused presets. Potato and low presets may have limited or disabled water reflection features.
