Adjust Cloud Appearance for Different Times of Day
Understand How Lighting Affects Clouds
This resource pack modifies cloud shape and density, but the color and brightness of clouds are controlled by Minecraft's time of day system. During sunrise and sunset, clouds will naturally take on warm orange and pink tones. At noon, they appear bright white. At night, they darken. The pack's soft, fluffy appearance works across all these lighting conditions.
Optimize Visibility at Different Times
During bright daylight, the soft edges and dense formations are most visible. If you want to see cloud detail during sunset or sunrise, position yourself where the sun is behind the clouds—backlighting makes the soft gradients and thickness much more apparent.
Combine with Improved Transparency
Enable Improved Transparency in Video Settings to enhance how clouds blend with the sky during color transitions. This makes the fluffy effect more pronounced during golden hour and twilight, when the sky's gradient is most dramatic.
