Adjust Water Clarity and Color
Access Shader Settings
Open your in-game settings and navigate to the shader options menu. Look for the water-related settings panel—this is where you control how transparent and colored your water appears.
Modify Water Properties
Locate the water clarity or transparency slider. Increasing this value makes rivers and oceans more see-through, letting you spot underwater features more easily. Decreasing it creates murkier, more opaque water.
If available, adjust the water color tint slider to shift between cool blue tones and warmer cyan hues, depending on your preferred aesthetic.
Test Your Changes
Travel to a river or ocean biome to preview your adjustments in real-time. Water appearance changes dramatically based on lighting and time of day, so test during both day and night. If you're unhappy with the result, return to the shader menu and fine-tune the values until the water matches your vision.
Remember that lower clarity settings may improve performance on older computers, while higher clarity provides better underwater visibility and more realistic appearance.
