Identifying Fully Grown Crops at a Glance

Spotting the Bloom

With this resource pack installed, fully mature crops display small, colorful flowers on their top surface. This visual marker replaces the need to check growth stages manually.

Which Crops Show Flowers

The following crops display flowers when fully aged:

  • Wheat — blooms with a characteristic flower design
  • Beetroot — shows its real-world flowering appearance
  • Potatoes — displays a small flower marker
  • Carrots — features a bloom matching the plant's natural growth
  • Nether Wart — has a custom red design inspired by weeping vines

How to Use This for Harvesting

Walk through your farm and look for the bright flowers on top of crop blocks. Any plant displaying a bloom is ready to harvest immediately. Plants without flowers are still growing and will drop fewer resources if harvested early.

This approach works best in well-lit farms where the colorful flowers are clearly visible. If you're having trouble spotting blooms, ensure your brightness settings are adequate and that no other texture packs are overriding the flower textures.
