In vanilla Minecraft, the night vision effect behaves oddly as it runs out. Once its remaining duration drops below ten seconds, the screen begins to flicker on and off repeatedly. This flickering is the game's built-in warning that the effect is about to end, but many players find it distracting or uncomfortable.

FlickerFix Mod changes only this behavior. Instead of the flickering, the night vision effect now fades out smoothly and quickly once one second remains. The result is a clean, gradual dimming rather than a harsh strobe.

What Stays the Same

The mod does not change how night vision is obtained, how long it lasts, or how it looks while active. It only affects the final moment before the effect expires. Nothing else about the effect's duration or brightness is altered.

Why Use It
