Getting Started with the FLIB Mod

What FLIB Does for You

FLIB Mod is a library mod, meaning it does not add much on its own. Instead, it provides shared code that other mods can build on. If you are a player, you will usually install FLIB because another mod requires it. If you are a mod developer, FLIB gives you a head start: it bundles common code, a mod template with buildscripts, and helpers that make updating your mod to new Minecraft versions less painful.

Features You Might Notice

FLIB includes world generation builders for ores and similar features, new recipe ingredients for energy, fluid tags, and randomized outputs, plus utilities for dimensions and inventories. It also adds custom block settings such as tooltips and power states, a system for custom brewing recipes, and helpful testing commands.

Commands

FLIB adds two commands: /flib tpx to teleport between dimensions, and /flib health to change a player's health. If you do not want these available, you can disable them in the flib.toml config file.
