Prevent Book GUI Freezing When Writing Long Text
The Problem
In vanilla Minecraft, writing very long passages in books can cause the GUI to become unresponsive or freeze temporarily. FixBookGUI improves the stability of text input and rendering during editing.
How to Write Without Freezing
1. Open a book and quill normally and begin writing.
2. Type continuously — FixBookGUI handles input buffering more efficiently, so long typing sessions should no longer cause lag spikes.
3. Navigate between pages using the page buttons. The mod ensures smooth transitions even with dense text.
4. Save your book by closing the GUI. The mod stabilizes the save process, reducing the chance of data loss or corruption.
Performance Notes
While this mod reduces freezing, extremely massive books (many pages of dense text) may still experience minor delays on lower-end systems. This is normal Minecraft behavior, not a mod failure. The improvement should be noticeable compared to vanilla.
