Use Exp Share Correctly With This Mod

Exp Share Behavior

This mod fully supports Exp Share items and maintains their normal functionality. When you hold an Exp Share, experience distribution follows standard Cobblemon rules—the mod doesn't change how Exp Share works.

How to Use Exp Share

1. Give an Exp Share to a Pokémon in your team

2. Battle trainers or wild Pokémon normally

3. When you defeat an opponent, XP is distributed according to Exp Share rules

4. Pokémon holding Exp Share receive their share of experience

5. Other Pokémon in your team also gain XP if Exp Share is active

Important Notes

The mod prevents double XP rewards at the end of battles, so you won't accidentally gain extra experience when using Exp Share. This keeps the balance intact and prevents unintended grinding advantages.

Exp Share works the same way whether you're fighting wild Pokémon or trainers—the instant XP system applies to both, but the item's distribution rules remain unchanged.
