Configure Fireplace Lib Settings for Your Server or World

Access Configuration Files

Fireplace Lib stores settings in configuration files rather than in-game menus:

1. Navigate to .minecraft/config/ folder.

2. Look for Fireplace Lib configuration files (names vary by version, often fireplace.conf or similar).

3. Open the file with a text editor (Notepad, VS Code, etc.).

Adjust Settings

Common configurable options include:

  • Thread count: Controls how many background tasks run simultaneously. Increase for better performance on powerful servers; decrease to reduce CPU load.
  • Data save intervals: How often the mod saves custom data to disk.
  • Language/translation settings: Select your preferred language for menus if playing on a multilingual server.
  • Debug mode: Enable to see detailed logs for troubleshooting.

Apply Changes

1. Save the configuration file.

2. Restart your game or server.

3. Changes take effect on the next load.

If you make a mistake, delete the config file and restart—Fireplace Lib will create a fresh default version.
