Customize Vanilla Fire Rendering
Disable Vanilla Fire Overlay
If you find the standard orange fire overlay distracting or obstructive, navigate to the Fire Hud Mod configuration and locate the option to disable vanilla fire rendering entirely. This removes the flickering fire graphics from your screen while keeping all fire damage mechanics intact.
Adjust Fire Opacity
Instead of disabling fire completely, you can reduce its opacity to make it more transparent. This allows you to see your surroundings better while still having a visual indicator that you're burning. Lower opacity values work well for players who want subtle feedback.
Reposition the Fire Graphic
The vanilla fire can be moved to a different corner or edge of your screen. Adjust the position settings to place it where it won't interfere with important information like your health bar, hunger meter, or other mod HUDs.
Apply Alternative Fire Designs
The mod offers redesigned fire graphics as alternatives to vanilla rendering. Enable these custom designs in your config to get a fresh visual style that may be clearer or more aesthetically pleasing during intense situations.
