Mute Annoying In-Game Sounds

Access Sound Settings

Fire Client includes a sound muting module that lets you silence specific in-game sounds without affecting your overall volume. Open the mod's settings and navigate to the sound control section.

Common Sounds to Mute

Many players mute repetitive or distracting sounds like:

  • Shield blocking noises (especially when using tridents)
  • Extinguish flame sounds that spam when near water
  • Footsteps from other players
  • Ambient cave sounds
  • Item pickup notifications

How to Mute Sounds

Select individual sounds from the list and toggle them off. The mod remembers your preferences across sessions, so you only need to configure this once. You can mute as many or as few sounds as you want—your changes won't affect other players' audio.

Vanilla Bug Fixes

Fire Client also fixes several vanilla sound bugs, including the shield-trident view obstruction and the repeating extinguish flame sound. These fixes apply automatically without extra configuration.
