Troubleshooting Missing or Short Death Replays

Why Your Replay Might Be Short

If your death replay only shows a few seconds of action, it's likely because you haven't been playing long enough in that world for the mod to build up a substantial snapshot buffer. The replay can only show moments that were captured before your death.

Building Up Snapshot History

To get longer, more detailed replays, simply continue playing. The more time you spend active in a world, the more snapshots accumulate, and the further back your next death replay will reach.

Replay Not Triggering

If no replay plays at all when you die, verify the mod is properly installed and enabled. The replay should trigger automatically—if it doesn't appear, check your mod list and ensure there are no conflicts with other mods.

Storage Limits

Remember that the mod caps stored frames per world. If you've been playing for a very long time, older snapshots may have been cleared to stay within the storage limit. This is intentional and helps manage performance.

Fresh Worlds

In brand-new worlds, your first death may have a very short replay since capture just started.
