Managing Mod Storage and Clearing Old Data

Automatic Cleanup

The Final Moments Archive Mod handles most storage management automatically. After each death replay finishes playing, the mod clears the snapshots used in that replay. This keeps your storage footprint minimal without requiring manual intervention.

Storage Limits Per World

Each world has a frame cap to prevent excessive storage use. Once this limit is reached, the oldest snapshots are removed to make room for new ones. This means very old moments will eventually be cleared, but recent gameplay is always preserved.

Backup Retention

Your most recent death replay is kept as a backup copy in your game files. Older death replays are not retained—only the latest one is saved. If you want to preserve a particular death moment, take a screenshot during the replay.

Estimated Storage Use

The mod is designed to use roughly 100 MB per world, making it lightweight enough for most systems. This modest footprint means you can have multiple worlds without worrying about significant storage impact.

No Manual Deletion Needed

You generally don't need to manually clear data. The mod's automatic systems keep everything optimized.
