How to Review Your Last Death Replay

Accessing Your Death Replay

When you die in-game, the mod automatically triggers a cinematic replay sequence showing your final moments before respawn. This replay plays immediately after death, giving you a visual recap of what led to your fatal mistake.

Watching the Replay

Simply die and watch the sequence play out. The mod will display a memory-download style animation (inspired by Outer Wilds) that rewinds through your recent actions. Pay attention to the visual timeline to understand exactly where things went wrong—whether it was fall damage, mob damage, or environmental hazard.

Finding Backup Copies

If you want to review a death replay later, the mod keeps a backup copy of your most recent death in your local game files. Check your game directory for the stored replay data. This lets you revisit the moment without needing to die again.

Tips

  • The replay only captures moments you've already played through, so the accuracy depends on how long you've been active in that world
  • Replays are cleared after each new death to manage storage, so save or screenshot important moments if needed
