Creating Custom Content

Filament Mod lets you add new items, blocks, and decorations to your server using JSON files—no coding required. To create custom content, write JSON configuration files that define your item or block's properties, appearance, and behavior.

Place these files in the appropriate resource pack folder, and the mod will load them automatically. You can create custom armor with unique properties, blocks with special mechanics, or decorative furniture with customizable placement options.

Because Filament uses resource packs and client-side tricks to render custom content, players joining your server don't need to install the mod themselves. They'll see all your custom items and blocks using their vanilla Minecraft client, making server setup seamless for everyone.
