Toggling the Mod's Armor and Skin Rendering Behavior
The chest model interacts with armor and skins, and players often want it hidden under armor or visible through it. These are controlled by rendering options in the mod's settings.
Hiding or showing the model under armor
1. Open the mod's settings screen from the pause menu or its keybind.
2. Find the rendering or armor section.
3. Toggle the option that controls whether the chest model renders while armor is equipped.
4. If you want a clean look with armor on, disable rendering under armor; if you want it always visible, enable it.
Skin and layer considerations
- The model is drawn on top of your player's skin, so skins with existing chest detail may look doubled up. Choosing a flatter skin avoids this.
- Outer skin layers (hat, jacket, sleeves) can overlap the model. If it clips, disable the relevant layer or pick a skin without a bulky outer layer.
- Changing skins does not reset your mod settings; they are stored separately.
If the model disappears entirely, check that you did not accidentally disable the whole mod's rendering, and confirm you are not in a perspective or GUI state that hides player models.
