Fixing Common Problems: Model Not Showing or Not Syncing

Most issues come down to three things: the mod is not loaded, a setting is off, or the server does not support syncing.

The model does not appear at all

1. Confirm the mod is actually loaded for your game instance (check your mods list).

2. Open the mod's settings and make sure rendering is enabled and the size is not set to zero.

3. Check for conflicts with other player-model mods; two mods editing the same model can cancel each other out.

4. If you recently changed skins or resource packs, switch back to default to rule out a rendering conflict.

Others cannot see your changes

  • Syncing requires the mod on the server. Without it, only you see your model.
  • Make sure the sync toggle is on in your settings and allowed in the server config.
  • Players without the mod will always see the vanilla model, no matter what you set.

Settings not saving

  • Change one option, close the screen fully, then reopen it to confirm it stuck.
  • If settings reset every launch, your config file may be read-only or being overwritten by another profile.
