Set Up Sound Alerts for Rare Sea Creature Catches

Enable Creature Alerts

Sound alerts notify you instantly when you catch valuable sea creatures, so you never miss a rare drop while AFK or distracted.

Steps:

1. Open your mod settings or configuration menu (usually accessible via mod menu or in-game settings)

2. Locate the Sound Alerts or Creature Notifications section

3. Toggle alerts on for the sea creatures you want to track (Sharks, Squids, Sea Witches, etc.)

4. Adjust the alert volume to a level you can hear clearly over game audio

5. Test by catching a few creatures to confirm the sound plays

Customize Alert Types

You can often choose between different alert sounds or disable alerts for common creatures to reduce noise. Some players prefer alerts only for rare drops like Sharks or Midas' Fishes.

Tip: If you're fishing in a party, enable the automatic party notification feature so your teammates know when you catch something valuable without needing to type in chat.
