Get Warned Before Fishing Without Proper Gear

Enable Pre-Fishing Checks

The mod alerts you if you attempt to fish without the correct armor or bait equipped, preventing wasted time and failed fishing trips.

Steps:

1. Go to mod settings and find Fishing Warnings or Pre-Fishing Checks

2. Toggle the warning feature on

3. The mod will automatically detect your current armor and bait

4. When you cast your fishing rod without proper gear, a warning message appears in chat or on screen

5. Equip the required fishing armor or bait, then cast again

Customize Warning Sensitivity

You can set which gear types trigger warnings—for example, warn only if you're missing fishing armor but not bait, or vice versa. Some players disable warnings for casual fishing and enable them only for serious grinding sessions.

Tip: This feature is especially useful if you frequently switch between activities. It saves you from accidentally starting a long fishing session with the wrong setup.
