Optimize Frame Rate on Low-End Hardware

Check Current Performance

Load your world and open the debug screen (F3 on most setups) to see your current FPS. Note your baseline performance before making changes.

Reduce Shadow Quality

In Shader Options, locate shadow-related settings. Lower shadow resolution or distance if your frame rate drops below your target. Feather Breeze Light's shadows remain readable even at reduced quality.

Disable or Lower Bloom

Turn down bloom intensity or disable it entirely. This effect, while beautiful, can impact performance on older machines. You can always re-enable it later.

Adjust Render Distance

While not a shader setting, reducing your render distance in Video Settings works alongside the shader to maintain smooth gameplay. Start with a moderate distance and increase gradually until you notice frame rate drops.

Monitor Results

Return to your world and check FPS again. The shader is designed to run smoothly, so you should see stable performance even with most features enabled on low-end systems.
