Get Better Visibility in Caves and Dark Areas
Understand Shadow Behavior
Feather Breeze Light softens shadows rather than eliminating them, keeping caves dark but navigable. Shadows won't wash out detail, so underground exploration remains atmospheric.
Use Strategic Lighting
Place torches, lanterns, or other light sources as you explore. The shader's soft shadows mean your placed lights will effectively illuminate surroundings without harsh contrast. Torches cast gentle, readable light in all directions.
Adjust Ambient Occlusion Settings
In Shader Options, look for "Ambient Occlusion" or "AO" controls. Increasing this value brightens shadowed areas slightly without removing shadows entirely. This helps caves feel less oppressive while maintaining atmosphere.
Modify Night Brightness (If Available)
Some shader configurations include night-time brightness adjustments. A slight increase can make nighttime exploration easier without breaking immersion.
Combine with Game Settings
Ensure your Minecraft brightness is set to "Bright" or "Moody" depending on preference. The shader works best when your base game settings complement it.
