Achieve Consistent Lighting Between Day and Night
Understand the Shader's Lighting Model
Feather Breeze Light applies semi-realistic lighting that changes based on time of day and weather. Day and night will naturally look different, but the shader ensures both remain visually balanced and playable.
Check Time-of-Day Settings
In Shader Options, look for controls related to "Time of Day," "Day Brightness," or "Night Brightness." These let you fine-tune how much the lighting shifts between day and night cycles.
Balance Contrast
If night feels too dark compared to day, increase the night brightness slider slightly. If day feels washed out, reduce day brightness. The goal is maintaining readability without losing the day/night distinction.
Test During Transitions
Smooth transitions indicate proper settings. Jarring changes suggest further adjustment is needed.
Account for Weather
Rain and storms naturally darken the world. This is intentional and atmospheric. If you want consistent brightness regardless of weather, check for weather-related overrides in advanced shader settings.
