Using Fat Cats with Other Resource Packs

Compatibility Basics

The Fat Cats Resource Pack modifies only cat model dimensions. It should work alongside most other packs, but conflicts can occur if another pack also modifies cat textures or models.

Layering Packs Correctly

If you use multiple resource packs:

1. Place Fat Cats lower in your pack list (higher priority) if you want the fluffy appearance to take priority

2. Place it higher in the list (lower priority) if another pack's cat textures should show through

3. Test in-game to see which arrangement gives your desired look

Potential Issues

• Texture conflicts: If another pack heavily modifies cats, you may see misaligned textures
• Model clipping: Rare cases where the doubled width causes visual glitches with certain armor or accessories

Solution

Start with Fat Cats alone to confirm it works, then add other packs one at a time. This helps identify which pack causes any issues. Most lightweight cosmetic packs layer without problems.
