Cure a Zombie Villager Quickly

Setup

First, trap a zombie villager in a secure area where it won't despawn or escape. You'll need:

• A splash potion of weakness (brewed from fermented spider eye)
• A golden apple
• The zombie villager contained in blocks or a pen

Curing Process

1. Throw the splash potion of weakness at the zombie villager

2. Feed it the golden apple by right-clicking with the apple in hand

With this data pack, the villager will cure in just 1 tick instead of the normal 3-5 minutes. You'll see the villager transform back into its normal state almost instantly. Once cured, the villager will offer discounted trades as a reward for saving it.

Tips

Make sure the zombie villager doesn't burn in daylight while curing—keep it in shade or underground. The potion of weakness is essential; without it, the golden apple won't work. After curing, the villager may wander, so consider keeping it contained until you're ready to integrate it into your village.
