How to Grow Mammoth Sunflowers

Obtain Sunflower Seeds

Collect sunflower seeds from regular sunflowers or find them as loot. These seeds are the starting material for Mammoth Sunflowers, a tall crop unique to this mod.

Plant in Farmland

Place sunflower seeds on tilled farmland using the standard Farmer's Delight planting system. Water the farmland with a water source nearby, just like vanilla crops.

If Serene Seasons or Ecliptic Seasons is installed, Mammoth Sunflowers grow as a summer crop. Without a seasons mod, they may grow year-round depending on your setup.

Harvest When Mature

Mammoth Sunflowers are notably tall—they stand higher than regular crops. Break the mature plant to collect sunflower seeds and other drops.

Use Seeds for Oil or Replanting

Harvested seeds can be replanted for the next crop cycle or pressed into cooking oil at a Cooking Station. Growing multiple rows ensures a steady supply for both frying recipes and future planting.
