How to Deal with Rotten Tomatoes and Other Hazards

What Rotten Tomatoes Are

Rotten Tomatoes are hostile mobs added by the mod. They spawn in certain conditions and attack by throwing projectiles or lunging at the player. They are not very tough but can be annoying in groups.

Avoiding and Fighting

Keep your distance and use a sword or axe. A shield blocks their attacks. If you see one, deal with it before it accumulates. They can spawn near crops or in dark areas, so light up your farm and surrounding land.

Preventing Spawns

• Place torches or lanterns around fields and storage areas.
• Fence off crop plots to keep mobs out.
• Clear tall grass and dark corners near your base.
• Check caves and shaded areas beneath farms.

Other Hazards

Some mod foods can cause effects if eaten raw or in excess. Read item tooltips before consuming unfamiliar meals. Cooking ingredients generally removes negative effects.

Tips

• Carry a shield when farming at night.
• A bow lets you pick off Rotten Tomatoes from a distance.
• If they keep appearing, expand your lighting radius.
• Report persistent spawns near your base by checking for unlit caves underneath.
