Cut items from The Aether on your cutting board

Setting up your cutting station

Place a cutting board block in your kitchen or food prep area. Make sure you have a kitchen knife in your inventory—this is essential for cutting.

Preparing Aether materials

Hold an item from The Aether that has a cutting recipe (such as plants, fruits, or other harvestable blocks from that dimension). Right-click on the cutting board to place the item on top of it.

Cutting the item

Equip your kitchen knife and left-click on the item sitting on the board. The item will be chopped into its prepared form. Different Aether items yield different results—some may produce multiple pieces, while others transform into new ingredients.

Collecting your results

The cut pieces will drop on the ground near the cutting board. Pick them up and use them in recipes, or continue preparing other ingredients. You can immediately place another item on the board to continue cutting.

Tips

Keep your knife in good condition—it will gradually wear with use. The cutting board can process multiple items in succession, making it efficient for batch food preparation.
