Planning your farm grid

To maximize the Farm 3×3 Data Pack's efficiency, design your farm in repeating 3×3 sections. This layout ensures every crop can be harvested with minimal overlap or wasted swings.

Layout strategy

1. Divide your farm space: Mark out 3×3 blocks as your base unit. You can create multiple grids side-by-side or in rows.

2. Leave pathways: Add one-block-wide paths between 3×3 sections so you can move between harvest points without trampling crops.

3. Arrange by crop type: Group the same crop together in 3×3 blocks. This simplifies harvesting schedules and replanting.

4. Consider water access: Ensure water hydration reaches all crops. Place water channels between your 3×3 grids for easy access.

Scaling up

For very large farms, create a grid pattern where each 3×3 section is separated by single-block pathways. This creates a checkerboard effect that's easy to navigate and harvest systematically. You can expand this pattern indefinitely while maintaining efficiency.
