Configure Colored Lighting for Specific Biomes
Access Colored Lighting Options
Open the shader settings and locate the colored lighting or dynamic lighting section. This controls how light from different sources tints nearby blocks.
Adjust Color Saturation
Increase or decrease the overall color saturation of the lighting effects. Higher saturation makes lava glow more red, water reflect more blue, and glowstone emit stronger yellow light. Lower saturation creates a more muted, realistic appearance.
Fine-Tune Light Spread Distance
Some shaders let you control how far colored light spreads from its source. Increasing this distance makes lava caves glow more intensely throughout caverns, while decreasing it keeps colored lighting localized to light sources.
Test in Diverse Environments
Visit lava lakes, glowing caves, nether biomes, and underwater areas to see how colored lighting affects each location. Adjust settings until the fantasy color palette feels balanced—bright and vibrant without washing out details or making caves too dark.
