Troubleshoot Choppy or Stuttering Animations
Check Frame Rate
Enable the FPS counter (F3 key by default) to see if your frame rate is dropping during animation-heavy scenes. Consistent stuttering suggests a performance issue rather than a shader bug.
Lower Animation Quality Settings
Return to Shader Options and reduce Wind Speed and Wave Intensity sliders. Even small decreases can improve smoothness on older hardware.
Disable Unnecessary Features
If your shader pack includes other visual options (like enhanced lighting or reflections), disable those first. FancyWind and Waves is lightweight, but combined effects can strain older systems.
Verify Compatibility
Ensure your graphics driver is up to date. Outdated drivers often cause animation glitches.
Test in Different Locations
Choppy animation in dense forests is normal due to many moving leaves. Test in open areas to isolate whether the issue is location-specific or system-wide.
