Adjust Wind Animation Speed for Plants

Access Shader Settings

Open your shader options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options, though the exact path depends on your launcher.

Find Wind Controls

Look for a section labeled "Wind" or "Animation Speed." FancyWind and Waves provides sliders to control how quickly grass, tall flowers, and tree leaves sway.

Customize Your Preference

Reduce the slider for a slower, more subtle sway—useful if you find constant movement distracting. Increase it for more noticeable, energetic motion. Changes apply instantly, so you can see the effect on nearby plants right away.

Save and Exit

Your settings persist automatically. If you want to reset to defaults, most shader packs include a "Reset" button in the options menu.

Tip: Experiment with different speeds in different biomes. Dense forests may feel better with slower wind, while open plains can handle faster animation without feeling chaotic.
