Equip an NPC with Armor and Items

Adding Equipment

Dress up your NPCs to make them look more interesting or match a specific role (guard, merchant, warrior).

1. Select the target NPC

2. Open the equipment menu in the plugin's configuration

3. Assign armor pieces to slots: helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots

4. Add a held item (sword, staff, tool, or decorative object)

5. Confirm changes—the NPC will instantly display all equipped items

Visual Customization

Armor color and type are visible to all players. A diamond sword-wielding NPC looks more intimidating than an unarmed one, while decorative items (like a banner or book) can indicate an NPC's purpose.

Equipment doesn't affect NPC behavior or server load. Mix and match items creatively—an NPC can hold any item in your game, even blocks or custom mod items if your server supports them. This helps players quickly understand what each NPC does at a glance.
