Create and Place Your First NPC

Setting Up a Basic NPC

To create an NPC, use the command system provided by the plugin. You'll need to specify the NPC type (mob or player skin), then place it in your world.

1. Open the plugin's command interface or configuration menu

2. Choose your NPC type—select from available mobs (cow, pig, zombie) or create a player-type NPC

3. If using a player skin, enter either a player's username or provide a direct image link to a custom skin

4. Execute the placement command at your desired location

5. The NPC will appear instantly without causing server lag

Positioning and Testing

Once placed, walk around the NPC to confirm it renders correctly from all angles. NPCs use packet-based rendering, so they won't appear in your world file—they exist only as server-side entities that clients see.

If the NPC doesn't appear, check that your render distance includes the placement coordinates. You can always remove and reposition NPCs without performance impact.
