Removing Custom Formatting

If you want to stop using a custom styled name and return to your original Minecraft username, you can clear your nickname setting.

Steps

1. Open chat and type /fancy set without any text after it, or use /fancy reset if available

2. Alternatively, set your nickname back to your original username exactly as it appears in your account

3. Press Enter to apply

4. Your name will revert to the default appearance for all players

Verification

Check the player list or ask another player with the mod to confirm your name has returned to normal. If you want to keep your original username but just remove styling, you can use the mod's option to "only show style changes" and then disable formatting. This way, your base name stays the same while you control when effects are active. You can always set a new custom name later by using /fancy set again with new formatting.
