Create a Gradient Name with Multiple Colors

Using MiniMessage Gradient Syntax

Gradient names transition smoothly between two or more colors across your nickname. Fancy Name Mod uses MiniMessage format to handle this.

Steps

1. Open chat and type /fancy set followed by your desired name

2. Use the gradient tag with hex color codes: <gradient:color1:color2>Your Name</gradient>

3. Replace color1 and color2 with hex codes (e.g., #FF0000 for red, #00FF00 for green)

4. For more than two colors, add additional hex codes separated by colons: <gradient:color1:color2:color3>

5. Press Enter to apply

Example

`

/fancy set <gradient:#FF0000:#00FF00>CoolPlayer</gradient>

`

This creates a name that fades from red to green. The gradient flows across each character in your nickname. You can use any valid hex color code to customize the effect. Test different color combinations to find a style that matches your preference. Other players with the mod installed will see your gradient name in chat and above your character in the world.
