How to Set Custom Backgrounds, Music, and Conditional Elements
Once your layout is set, you can make each screen feel distinct with its own background, soundtrack, and rules for when elements appear.
Backgrounds
Select the screen's background option in the editor. You can use a single image, a slideshow that cycles through several images, or an animation. Choose the images from your files and set how long each one shows if you use a slideshow. Make sure the background does not clash with your button colors.
Per-Screen Music
Each menu can have its own background track. Open the music settings for the screen you are editing and assign an audio file. This lets the title screen play one song while the pause menu plays another. Test by switching between screens to confirm the track changes.
Conditional Visibility
Elements can appear or disappear based on conditions, such as the current date, the player's name, or other rules the mod supports. Select an element and open its conditions panel to add a rule. This is handy for seasonal decorations or personalized greetings. Combine conditions carefully — if a rule is too strict, the element may never show. Save and preview each screen to confirm everything behaves as intended.
