How to Open the Fancy Menu Editor and Start Customizing a Screen
The editor is built into the game, so you never have to leave Minecraft to change a menu. The trick is knowing which screen you can edit and how to enter edit mode once you are there.
Entering Edit Mode
Open the menu you want to change — the main title screen, the pause menu, or a screen added by another mod. Look for the Fancy Menu button that appears on the screen (often a small icon or a labeled button). Click it to toggle the editor on. If you do not see it, check your key bindings in the controls menu, since the editor can also be opened with a hotkey.
Working Inside the Editor
Once the editor is active, elements on the screen become selectable. Click any button, label, or image to select it, then drag it to move it or use the handles to resize it. A side panel lists every element on that screen and gives you options to hide, delete, or restyle it. Use the save option when you are done so your layout is stored for that specific menu. You can exit edit mode at any time and your changes stay applied.
If the Editor Will Not Open
Make sure you are actually on a customizable screen and that the mod is enabled. Some screens from other mods may not be editable, and a few require you to open them through the normal menu flow rather than a command.
