How to Move, Resize, and Hide the Default Menu Buttons

The most common first project is rearranging the vanilla buttons on the title screen so they match a custom background or a themed layout.

Selecting and Moving Buttons

Open the screen you want to edit and turn on the editor. Click a button such as Singleplayer or Options to select it. Drag it to a new position. If you want precise placement, use the position fields in the element panel instead of dragging, since dragging can snap to a grid. Repeat for each button until the arrangement looks right.

Resizing and Restyling

With a button selected, use the size handles or the width and height fields to change its dimensions. You can also change the button's texture or background so it matches your theme. Keep text readable — if you shrink a button too far, the label may clip.

Hiding Buttons You Do Not Need

Select the button and use the hide or visibility toggle in the element panel. Hidden buttons still exist but are not drawn, so you can bring them back later. This is useful for removing buttons you never use, or for hiding default elements when you replace them with your own custom buttons. Save when finished, and remember that changes apply only to the screen you edited.
