Create and Use Colored Signal Cartridges

Craft Cartridges in Bulk

The mod includes six standard colored cartridges beyond the default red. Each color serves as a distinct signal marker—useful for organizing meeting points or marking different locations for your team. Craft cartridges at your crafting table using the appropriate dye color combined with the cartridge base materials. You can make multiple cartridges at once to keep your inventory well-stocked.

Load and Fire by Color

Keep your preferred cartridge colors in your inventory alongside the flare gun. Press R or left-click with an empty gun to load a specific cartridge. The gun will accept any cartridge type from your inventory. Aim and fire to launch your chosen color into the sky. Each color burns with its own vibrant hue, making it easy for distant players to identify which signal you're sending.

Organize Your Signals

Establish a color code with your team: blue for "gather here," green for "resources found," yellow for "danger ahead," and so on. This system works especially well during night exploration or large-scale building projects where verbal communication isn't practical.
